Hello out there!
Well here is my first post on my blog. Something that kept swirling around in my head and my heart, well I've decided to go for it. First my name is Melody. I am a mother of 5 incredible children who I homeschool. I have been married to my dashing husband Michael for almost 16 years. I have grown over those years as a women in all areas. I have learned who I am, what I like and what I surround myself with. I have grown spiritually, mentally, and even professionally. I own a bakery business with my husband. I am a wild scientist in the kitchen, adore food combinations that please the palette and appeal to the eye. My genealogy is Portuguese and grew up in a very Portuguese home. We did things a bit different in my home. My mother is very proper and has taught so much. Along with having children I am constantly learning and teaching my children manners.
I am in love with this life God has blessed me with. I understand that it is not perfect but I have learned to see the beauty in all seasons. My main goal with blog is to help other women understand that no matter where you are in life to find beauty in it. To seek out the blessings, or what I call everyday blessings instead of focusing on what needs to be fixed. To know how amazing and precious you are and to live your life fully. That living that full life doesn't have to be limited to traveling around the world, wearing the latest trends, or having the best of the best (which are all wonderful and I am NOT against) but that you can live your day to day with passion, and gratitude. So I hope you will follow along this journey of mine. I will post ideas on make-up, hair, fashion, life, recipes, blurbs about being a wife, a mother, a woman of faith. Posts about manners, elegance, how to carry yourself, how to see yourself. How to maybe just stop and see the beauty around you. I hope to inspire you to be a Everyday Quaintrelle!
Melody ~ thank you for publishing!! I know I will enjoy the ride. These are my thoughts exactly
